Most serious IT organizations have some form of Data Quality Management program in place, whether it be an ITAM database or more robust CMDB. In a recent research document authored by Dennis Drogseth of Analyst firm Enterprise Management Associates outlining the results from a survey of 200 IT managers reveals some interesting insights into the benefits of Advanced IT Analytics solutions. For me, the most significant finding (other than enormous return of such solutions) is the operational benefits that include a 60% improvement on average of new IT service delivery times.
